The Unfairness & Injustice Of It All
To all the peoples on the innernets,
We just wanna say that we think some unfair stuff is goin' on in our house. It just ain't right. There is rules for us and then there is rules for mommy. Them rules ain't the same. It ain't fair that mommy gits to make the rules. There's more of us than they is of her. Majority rules, right?
In particular, we is mad 'cause when we eats, we gots to share off of the same plates. Mommy sits out 6 plates of Fancy Feast every night and every mornin'. There's 12 of us. We gots to lick and slurp off of the same plates and we ain't allowed to growl or bop anybody upside the head. Mommy says we gots to have manners when we is eatin' our Fancy Feast. We follow that there rule real good...nobody hogs all the supper. We is real ladies and gentlemens.
Now, when mommy sits down to eat, she gits her own plate and she eats other stuff...non-Fancy Feast stuff. When we go to sniff her plate to see if we want any, she fusses at us and won't let us lick and slurp off of her plate. Shouldn't she have ta share just like we do???
The unfairness and injustice of it all...it just ain't right.
Very truly yours,
The Whiskers & Purrs Gang

of course she has to share. I make mommy share her foods with me all the time. - Miles

Hey, we have to share one plate with four of us. Mommy and Daddy don't let us lick their plates either. But, sometimes we sneak a couple without them looking!

Oh dear. Mom has never thought about it like that. She thinks about how many dishes she has to pick up, then rinse, then put in the dishwasher, then ... do all over again.
And they are gooey and have to soak in the sink first.
H'mmm, if I look hard, I can see paper plate thoughts swirling about in her mind.

Yes, we must also share a plate. But we like to.
