UPDATE on Felix: My Butt Hurts
Dear peoples on the innernets,
This is Felix speakin'. I'm talkin' in italics 'cause I don't feel so good and I'm real weak. I have had me a real hard day. First I wants to say thanks to every single one of you that has said prayers for me, my mommy and my Aunt Doktor Davies. I've been out of it for most of this week, but mommy telled me 'bout each and every one of you peoples and all them nice prayers you been sayin'. Mommy gits all leaky-eyed when she talks 'bout y'all.
I had me my colonoscopy today. 'Course I was snoozin' durin' the whole thing but gittin' ready for that thing was awfuls...two whole days of "golytely" and enemas. I went from Sunday night to tonight (3 WHOLE DAYS!) wiffout any food. I was for sure they was tryin' to kill me.
Doktor Davies taked a lotta somethin' called "biopsies" of my colon...I ain't sure why she didn't take biopsies of my semi-colon and commas...I do know that she sure does like doin' punkchewation. We probably ain't gonna git the biopsy results until Tuesday of next week. Until then, Aunt Doktor Davies is gonna send me home with lotsa good medicine to help keep me from hurtin' when I gots to make poop.
You can tell from my picture that I'm still kinda out of it...my foxy green eyes is all crossed and everything. See, that there medicine is some powerful stuff...it makes me feel all toasty and mellow...mommy says that's the least that I deserve since I've had me such a hard week.
I wonner why Aunt Doktor Davies put this ugly bracelet on my hand...it makes me look like a Halloween Cat. It makes me crazy that I gots all this stuff wrapped 'round my arm...once my drugs wear off, I'mma gonna chew this thing off...but...for now...<yawn> <purr> <head butt>, I is gonna nap on my mommy's lap and dream 'bout all them pritty little girl cats back home...maybe tomorrow I will git to see 'em again.
Thanks again for all them prayers. Please keep prayin' for me 'cause this ain't over yet. We is all real skeerd 'bout what them test results might say...

I am praying very hard for you, Felix. I am glad that the colonoscopy is over. Waiting for the results is the hardest part for your Mommy, so I will pray for her, too. I am glad that you get to go home to wait. Yay for the good medicine so you won't hurt so much when you have to go poopy.

Oh Felix, you sure have been through a big ordeal you sweet boy. I hope you are feeling all better soon! I think getting back home will be the best thing for you now. And I am going to cross my paws and purr for the very best results on your biopsy.

Felix, I can sympathize with that bracelet on your arm. I had one at the beginning of January when I need IV fluids and medication.
