A Very Important Date
Dear Peoples on the Innernets,
We wants to bring to your attention a very extra super-important date. Mommy is all excited 'bout it and is makin' some BIG plans. It's called "SUPER Innernational Pajama Day" and it's on Sunday February 3. Now we is kinda excited 'bout this ourselves. Here's why...all kinds of good stuff happens when mommy is in her pajamas.
First, when mommy is in her pajamas, she is usually home. Now she ain't right so there might be a time when she forgits and leaves the house in her pajamas but that ain't happened YET that we is aware of. And, when mommy is home in her pajamas, it means there ain't nothin' goin' on in the world to her but US!!! She is usually only innerested in scratchin' our stuff, givin' us kisses, rubbin' our ears and talkin' to us in that special "mommy loves us" tone. Ain't no cleanin', compooterin', workin' in the yard or stressin' out 'cause of that person named "work" we was tellin' you 'bout. Pajama wearin' days mean ain't nothin' goin' on but mommy layin' in bed with us, watchin' old black and white movies, doin' somethin' she calls "nittin"...we call it "playin' with strings", drinkin' hot chokits and LOVIN' on us - the most important peoples in the world to mommy!
So...it's real important that all you pussycats make sure your humans knows 'bout this very important holiday...make sure they git ready to wear them pajamas and do nothin' but pay attention to YOU the whole dang day!!!
Very truly yours,
The Whiskers & Purrs Gang

Right, I have informed Her. And she laughed actually and said what did I think she was going to wear on Sunday.
Um, our mom has a dressing gown and nightie and bedsock collection. Mainly winter weight wool explorer socks, like she has on right now. She wants to know if that is a real life pic of your mom in her dressing gown, cause my mom LOVES it!!!!
All clothes should be dressing gowns in her opinion.

Pajama day! We are so excited. Mommy often has pajama days and we just love them! Especially when she wears the warm and snuggly flannel ones. We love those!!

My mommy LOVES her pajamas. She has a whole collection. Her best days are the ones that she can wear her pjs all day in.
I am going to tell her. Oh, she is going to be so excited! I bet she squeals.

I like the picture! My mum thinks pyjama day is a great idea. (I should point out that being British we spell it PYJAMAS not PAJAMAS) She and my dad usually go to the supermarket on Sundays to buy food but I think she should stay home in her pyjamas and let dad go shopping.
It's my second blogversary today, come and celebrate with me!

Oh yes, I've put that day on our calendar in GIANT red letters! The only thing better than a mom in pajamas all day is a mom in pajamas snuggled in bed with a hot water bottle and a giant bag of Temptations all day!!

Sign us up! Mommy has been looking for an excuse to keep the 3 of us in bed all day and now we have it. You know, the holidays are crazed, they've been so busy at work...Now she has an official reason to be in her jammy jams all day!

I think my SS is deprived - she has no pyjamas. She goes to sleep in T shirt and shorts. Maybe that way she wouldn't have to get change in the morning to go to uni.

That is a great idea. I won't be able to participate, as I work every Sunday.

Good thing this pajama thing is on a Sunday, otherwise the humans at Mom's work might think she went crazy! We'll be sure she stays home on Feb 3 and wears her jammies all day!
