Mazie Grace's Secret
Hi to all the peoples on the innernets. This is Mazie Grace speakin'. I gots a secret. See, I'mma tough girl. I'm blind...I can't see nothin'. Because I'm blind, I'mma little bit defensive. I can't tell when somebody is walkin' towards me if they is gonna be friendly or try to beat the bejeezuz outta me. So...I automatically assume the worst. It's safest that way. When somebody walks up to me, I scream as loud as I can and run. My super-loud and skeery scream skeers 'em outta beatin' me up.
Mommy tries to tell me that ain't nobody gonna hurt me, but I ain't sure. I still think it's best to scream as loud as I can and then run.
But that ain't my secret. See...when it gits dark and everybody goes to sleep with mommy on the big bed...I sneak in real quiet like...and then I git as close as I can to mommy...and I snuggle and purr and kiss her. See...I'mma tough girl on the outside but I'mma big ol' marshmellow on the inside...I'm just a big ol' softie.
Shhhhhhh....don't tell nobody! It would hurt my image!
