Sunday update on Henry
To all my friends on the innernets,
This is Senator Henry Jackson Edward Graves III speakin'. I am talkin' in italics 'cause I am weak and not feelin' so good. I ain't been eatin' my foods so mommy has been feedin' me AD with a syringe. It is warm and so very tasty. I have been stayin' as close to mommy as I can 'cause she makes me feel very extra safe. We just don't know what is wrong with me. We is wonnerin' if it could be this: Feline Calcivirus We just don't know. I will definitely be goin' back to see Aunt Doktor Dugan on Monday.
I am tired...very tired of feelin' bad. Please keep sayin' prayers for me, 'kay?
Very truly yours,
Senator Henry Jackson Edward Graves III

We are purraying hard for you to get better.

Can be that he has the low defenses. Have they made to him a bloodtest to reject leukaemia or immunodeficiency? Both diseases disqualify the immune system, the body remains without defenses and the cats can fall ill seriously with any disease because their immune system doesn´t work.
Hills a/d is a good food for cats that they do not want to eat, weak and sick because it has many vitamins and proteins.
We hope that he gets well soon.
Purrrrrrrrrrrs and hugs.

I am very sorry that you are not feeling any better, Senator Henry. I am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. I really hope the bet can figure out what is wrong with you on Monday. As for Feline Calcivirus, I don't know much about it, but the cats at Criz' Cat Sanctuary have it. You could maybe go there and read about their symptoms and see if you can find any similarities.

Ask your Mom to ask the vet to do an oral viral swab for Calici. The Limping form Calici is still fairly rare and usually there's swelling in the paw pads and all legs as well as the other Calici symptoms.
I hope they can find out what is ailing you sweet fella. I will send you some extra rumbly purrs!
