What is wrong with my spits?

Fabulous_freddy_small

Hi.  This is Freddy Mercury Astaire Graves III speakin'.  I am confused.  Last night mommy came home and fixed us our Fancy Feast just like always.  Then, she fixed her supper.  The phone ringed and she walked away to answer it and just leaved her suppers on the kitchen counter.

I looked at her suppers and then I looked at our suppers.  Her suppers looked better than ours.  So, I started lickin' and eatin' it.

When she came back in the kitchen, she said, "FREDDY!!!  Git away from my supper!  EWWwwww...now you've got your spit all over my food!"

What is wrong with my spits?  I use it for a lotta stuff...

  1. Washin' my face
  2. Washin' my hands and feets
  3. Washin' other very important stuff that I ain't gonna call out
  4. Lickin' my Fancy Feast and other supper stuff
  5. It helps me chew and swallow my foods

Why does mommy not like my spits?  What did I do wrong?  Mommy don't make no kind of sense.

Very truly yours,
Freddy Mercury Astaire Graves III

Tell her that it makes her food taste better, that's why you did it!
I am sure she will believe you!

there's not a thing wrong with your spits Freddy - nothing at all. mom's is just WEERD

I don't get it either, Freddy. My mommy doesn't mind my spit. We share food all of the time.

But you know . . . I think maybe other beans would think my mommy is crazy to NOT mind my spit or furs all in her food. It took a long time for the ex-Almost Dad to be trained in the way of the kitty. (It used to gross him out, but he had to learn to overlook it, otherwise he would have lost mommy much earlier on, and starved to boot.)

Freddy I can't understand it either.
I iz always into momma and daddas dinner and taste test everything, you know, just to make sure it's safe to eat.
They don't mind my spits.. well unless I has just been cleaning you know where :)

Freddy

Momma doesn't mind my spits cuz I wash her all da time and she juss accepts it as da way it is...now Daddy is a nutter storee...well I do hafta admit I try to put da bitey on Daddy. I only shares my spit wif Momma.

There really is nothing wrong with your spit. I think that the dislike of it is one of those bizarre human things. I would ignore them and continue to lick whatever I want--but try to do it when they aren't around and they won't notice...

First of all, you were very right to eat the foods that looked the best. Secondly, spits help digest foods. So, in actuality, you did your mom a big favor!

Our momma doesn't mind our spits in her foods. She said you can come over anytime and eat off her plate.

Hey Freddy...we thinks our spits gives the beans' food some extra flavor. But for some reason, they aren't buying that!

Sometimes, we like what Mom is eating better, too. Humans are so confusing sometimes.

We dont like bean food but the mom would share her foods wif TT even if TT stoles it - but if woofie Jake did dat she would say ewwwwww too!

Mom don't wanna share my spits, eifur. But she lets Nina lick, lick, lick, lick all ofur her hands an arms. Moms is weird. Keep eatin her foods, just don't get cot.

No, nothing wrong with your spit at all. Just gives the food extra flavour. Best thing is to try not to let your mum catch you putting spits on her food.

I think it was #3 - the places that you didn't mention that got to her.

Der is nothing wrong wif yoor spits...we drink out of mom's glass and she don't care. She only gets mad if we stick our nozes in der or if we sneeze on her food.

All I'm sayin' is, mums are weird.

Oh your poor mom!! Our mom has often had to just grin and bear it, when that has happened.

BUT - when Pyewacket sneezes on her cup of tea or something she is eating - ERK! Out it goes!!
