Dearest peoples on the innernets,
This is Elsie Fallulah Graves speakin' and today is Top Cat Tuesday! I know...I knows...it has been way too long, peoples. Unfortunately you need to take your complaints about the silence of our bloggy to our mommy. She has a million excuses and none of 'em are worth anythings.
Lots has happened here at the Whiskers & Purrs House over the past few months...there's almost too much to talk 'bouts. But probably the biggest thing is that we rescued two little tiny baby kittens that was starvink!
Mommy was at work one day when somebody called her to tell her that they sawed a kitten outsides. Well, where mommy works, there shouldn't be any stray animals walkin' round so mommy got worrieds. She runned outside real quicks. And there, way up in some prickly holly bushes she sawed the boniest, most skeertest baby kitten ever. She was a tortie and was terribly skinny. She was very skeert and would not let mommy touch her. So mommy runned real fast and gotted some foods and waters. But, she couldn't git the baby.
Well...mommy decided to leave the food and leave the baby alones to see if she would eat...so mommy leaved and then camed back. All of the food was gone...but so was the baby. Somebody told mommy they saw the baby in a drain pipe so...mommy put some more food out just inside the drain pipe...all of a sudden mommy sawed not only the baby girl but...another baby...also terribly skinny and frail. They both practically eated a whole can of Fancy Feast in one bites.
Mommy didn't have her traps or a carrier or nothin' so...she had to wait until the next mornin'...but she leaved out TONS of suppers and waters for them...and then she came back around 6:00 in the mornin' the next day...no babies...mommy posted signs all over for her coworkers to call her if they saw the babies...almost the whole day passed and...no babies. Mommy was so worrieds...and so was I!
Around 2:00 mommy's phone ringed. It was a coworker sayin' the babies was back!!! Mommy went downstairs, got the carriers and tricked the starvink babies to go into the carriers to git some suppers! YAY! Here's a picture of Buddy Holly and Holly Berry after they got home from their very first V E T appointment.

Love really is a many splendored thing!
