This is Senator Henry Jackson Edward Graves III speakin'.  Today is Sunday.  As the Senator of the Whiskers & Purrs Gang, I have decided that today we will do absolutely nothin'.  We will sleep all day, eat Fancy Feast, sniff nip and chillax.  I know this is an unusual day for us cats, what with us bein' such busy and hard workin' people, but forcin' ourselfs to rest is very important for our well bein'.

BREAKING NEWS: Mazie's eyeball operation date has changed

Dearest peoples on the innernets,

We have been tellin' everybody 'bout Mazie Grace's eyeball operation bein' scheduled for Thursday, May 28.  We set up the "Innernational Say a Prayer for Mazie Grace Day" and everything...well...don't you know that the date has now changed!  We are sorry!  Her new date is Thursday, June 4th...it's exactly one week from when it had been scheduled. 

We know we is askin' a lot and we are real sorry for the confusion...the date change couldn't be helped.  If you could say a prayer for our Mazie Grace on June 4th, we would be so very thankfuls.  And...if you have an extra prayer you could spare and want to say a prayer for her this Thursday...well...that would be wonnerfuls.  Mazie is skeert and now has a whole extra week to sit and worry 'bout her big operation...mommy's a little bug-eyed-crazy with worry right now, too. 

Just one more week of bein' blind, little Mazie Grace.  Everything's gonna be okay...

International Say a Prayer for Mazie Grace Day

Dearest peoples on the innernets,

This is all of us speakin'.  We gots a very special announcement to make to all of our friends on the innernets. Many of y'all knows that our little sister, Mazie Grace, is gonna have her eyeballs operated on this comin' Thursday 'cause she is blind as a bat.  She has had 2 eyeball operations in the past and now it's time for the third one.

We are all skeert and worried 'bout her and don't want nothin' bad to happen to her 'cause she's OUR Mazie Grace.  She's a very good girl.  We wanna ask if you guys might say a prayer for her on Thursday.  Don't matter where you are...if you could just say even the tiniest of prayers, we just know that it will make a big difference and help Mazie to not be afraids and Unkle Doktor Blair to be able to help her.

We sure would appreciate your prayers for our little blind girl.

Mazie Monday

This is Mazie Grace speakin'...today is Mazie Monday.  I am now gittin' very real skeert 'bout my big eyeball operation that I'm havin' on Thursday...

Mazie can see in her dreams...

Right now I can only see when I'm dreamin'...I have me some real good dreams...but I wanna be able to see in real life!  Oh, I would love to be able to see birdies and squirrels and see why my big sister Elsie Fallulah is SO in love with her Anderson Cooper!

Oh, please say a prayer for me, that my eyeball operation will work, 'kay?  In case I haven't told you lately...I am skeert.

Last night...

Dearest peoples on the innernets,

This is Jimmy Durante Graves III speakin'.  Last night I was very tired.  I had worked hard all day at bein' a very good boy.  It was not a easy job but I did it...all day.  So, when it was time to go to sleeps, I went real real fast. 

While I was sleepin', a big ol' mean monster was chasin' me.  He was big and mean and ugly.  He skeert me.  So I started runnin' in my sleeps as fast as I could and then I started meowin'...meowin' real real loud.  Shoot...I was so brave that I even reached behind me and whapped that mean ol' monster right on the leg!  What I didn't know was that I was layin' next to mommy and was movin' my legs just like I was runnin' for reals.  And...I was meowin' at the top of my lungs, too...mommy thought I was havin' a seizure or somethin'.  But...it was just an evil monster chasin' me.  When mommy finally gotted me awake, my heart was racin'...

Dang ol' monster!

This here is Senator Henry Jackson Edward Graves III speakin'.  I am SO glad this is a long weekend...these past few weeks I have been doin' so much senatatin'...I'm just weared out.  It makes me long for the good ol' days when I was just a little squirt...bein' a Baby Senator was a piece of cake compared to the stressful job I have now...I'm just gonna relax, meditate and have my way with some of the ladies this weekend in order to git ready for a summer full of senatatin' and politickin' around.

Mommy is finally home after bein' gone for a whole dang week.  She helped to plan a big big BIG meetin'.  While she was gone, she meeted some real nice peoples and also got to work with some of the nicest peoples on the face of the earth...everything went real good and now she is finally home...all is right in the world again.

Dear Mommy,

This is Elizabeth Taylor and Mazie Grace speakin'.  We are wonnerin' if you are ever comin' home again...you have been away for a whole dang week.  We are sad.  We love Aunt Stacy and all, but...we miss you.  Mazie Grace has been so lonely that she has dragged every toy we have all around the house tryin' to make some funs but...well...dang it...as much as we hate to admit it, we miss you and want you to come home.  Please come back, 'kay?

This is Georgie Porgie Puddinandpie speakin'.  I am very real upsets.  There has been some rumors 'bout me on the innernets and in some story books.   I am very hurted and mad 'bout 'em.  Mommy said I should make a public statement to all my peoples to sit the record straight.  So...here it goes:
