Dearest peoples on the innernets,
This is Mazie Grace speakin'...today is Monday so that means it must FINALLY be Mazie Monday! I just wants to say that I have missed everybody on the innernets. We missed you all but it has just been a tough few months for mommy...we hope you guys ain't given up on us.
Well, my dearest peoples on the innernets, I do have some more bad news to share...see, lots of ya'll might remember that back in the spring time, I had me my 3rd eyeball operation to fix my busted up eyeballs. We was so hopefuls that I would git my eyeballs to workin' and it would last for ever and evers.
Right after the big operation, I could see...oh peoples, it was wonnerfuls! I could see mommy and all my brothers and sisters. But, well, I'm so sorry to have to tell you that it just didn't last. See, scar tissue has formed back over my eyeballs again where my Unkle Doktor Blair operated. That means, well...I hate to tell you this but...I am now back in the dark...again.
I am sad and so is mommy but...well...I want everybody to remember that I was borneded blind-as-a-bat. I've had 3 operations and they have helped me some but...I guess I'm just not supposed to be able to see. But I am a very happy girl...I git 'round real good...I run up and down the stairs real good! And, I gots my Little Joey Cartwright Graves III to raise and all my brothers and sisters to love me and...mommy is flat out crazy over me...I guess it all boils down to this...whether I'm in the dark or not, I am loved. Life is good and I am very thankfuls.
