Dearest peoples on the innernets,
The past few months have been hard...real hard...mommy's mommy is still very real sick and there's no hope that she will ever git betters. In fact, she will just continue to git worser. She has somethin' called "dementia" plus, 'cause of some doctors makin' lotsa big mistakes, she can't walk or really take care of herself no mores. Mommy and her daddy worked so very hard back in November and December...thinkin' that mommy's mommy could come out of the nursin' home and live in the new house that our mommy worked so hard to git set up for them...but...it just wasn't meaneded to be...they bringed mommy's mommy outta the nursin' home at the beginnin' of January...but she is in such bad shape, there's just no way that mommy's daddy could take care of her by himself. And...Medicare won't help pay for no kinds of medical care 'cause mommy's mommy's medicare benefit has run outs. So...after bein' home for just one week, mommy's mommy had to go back to the nursin' home...forevers and evers. Our mommy has been so sad 'cause of this...we're talkin' REAL sads. It makes her cry when she thinks 'bout it.
Mommy just ain't had the energy to help us with the bloggy and, well, we unnerstand. We has been tryin' real hards to take care of mommy with a lot of purrin' and head buttin' and stuff. Since mommy ain't had a lot of brain cells to give the bloggy, we have been doin' some Facebookin'...but...now Facebook has turned into a place where mean people can bully nice, honest cats like us so...mommy said a real bad cuss word and then..."We're gonna go back to the blog full time!"
We are happy to be back, dear friends on the innernets. Please don't think we didn't want to blog but mommy has just been through a real hard time and we is tryin' to be gentle with her and not fuss at her too much. We have received tons and tons of emails from our friends on the innernets out of concern 'bout why we ain't been bloggin'. All them emails made us git a little drippy-eyed. We sure do appreciate it and we is gonna do everything we can to git back to bein' the super-dooper bloggers we used to be.
Over the next few days we'll update you all 'bout all that has been goin' on in the Whiskers & Purrs House...Little Joey has become a man...Elsie is startin' to look like Super Model...Mazie Grace is back to bein' blind as a bat...the drama and intrigue has continued to go on even though we ain't been bloggin' 'bout it...we'll git you all catched up over the next few days...
That's all for now but just know that we love you all and, to our real friends on Facebook...please just visit us here everyday instead of on Facebook. It's safe to be with the Whiskers & Purrs Gang...we won't let nobody say or do mean things to each other here.
