Dearest peoples on the innernets,
This is Mazie Grace speakin'. One year ago today, I had me my last big eyeball operation. It was my third big eyeball operation and it was very real dramaticals! Them wonnerful peoples from The Learning Channel (TLC) was with us...that was the beginnin' of me and The Gang becomin' big National TV Stars. I owe my big TV career to my Aunt Sara and my Unkle Mark...they was the big fancy producers and stuff for the TV Show we was on and I love them both very much. They was very real good to us and I will never ever forgits them.
Anyways...I can't say I remember much 'bout my big eyeball operation...I was feelin' all goofy, loopy and stuff after it was all overs. I somehow ended up with a lampshade on my head! Plus, well, I always feel all googly-eyed after bein' 'round my Unkle Doktor Blair. He likes me lots...I flirt with him every time I gits to go see him. He calls me "Peanut"...it makes me feel all warm and cozy in my insides.
But anyways, back to the story...I had me my operation in the hopes that it would help me see betters. I could see pritty good for a short time after that operation...we was all real happy and stuff. But, now a year laters, scar tissue has formed back over my sweet eyeballs and, well...I am back to bein' blind as a bat. Now don't feel too sads for me...even though I am blinds, I git 'round REAL goods. I run up and down the stairs all day long and I even jump on top of the refrizerator! I also chase my Little Joey 'round the house and have rasslin' matches with him all the times.
I had a hard time gittin' over that operation...I was pritty puny for a couple of weeks afterwards. And, so, mommy promised me that I wouldn't have to have me no more eyeball operations again. Unkle Doktor Blair said he has probably done all he can do for my busted-up eyeballs...and, well, I'm okay with that. I'm happy and safe and git lots of lovin' from my mommy and my family. Plus, I can see in my dreams...and that's good enough for me. Life.Is.Good.
