Farewell 2008

Dear 2008,

Just like we did last year with 2007, it's time for us to tell you goodbye.  Now we really don't want hurt your feelin's or nothin', but...well...we ain't so sad to see you leave.  Now we gots lots to be very thankful for and we definitely are.  But...you pritty much sucked the whole way through the year so...it's time for you to go.

See, when you was good, you was very very good.  Durin' a time when lotsa peoples was losin' their jobs and their homes, we are very thankfuls that mommy has a job and we gots the Whiskers & Purrs House to live in.  There's lots of us in it but it's big enough that we all have our very special hidin' places and lotsa room to play. 

But, 2008, when you was bad, you was just plain evil...like when you took our Felix to heaven and how you made our sweet Molly Louise Graves be positive for both FIV and Feline Leukemia.  Oh, and how you let our cousin Nate git sick and have to go to heaven.  You suck 2008.

So, 2008, please don't let the door kick you in the butt-tocks on the way out...we ain't gonna miss you one bit.  And, baby new year, well, we wanna welcome you but we gots to get some things straigh right now...If you is nice to us, we will be nice to you.  But we ain't gonna take no craps off of you, unnerstand?  You're welcome as long as you play fair.

To all our dear friends, we hope you have a safe and fun New Year's celebration.  We have been so fortunate to make friends with lotsa peoples all around the world.  We are very proud that we have posted on this here bloggy every single day of 2008.  We doubt that we keep postin' every day in 2009 'cause we is kinda tired of it...but...we will update the bloggy often and hope that all of you will keep in touch with us.
