Mazie Monday: Waters!
Dearest peoples on the innernets,
This is Mazie Grace speakin' and today is Mazie Monday. I have a very excitin' and dramatical story to tell everybody today! See, I love love LOVE to rub my whiskers on any and EVERY thing in the house. I rub my whiskers on the furniture, on cans of Fancy Feast, on rolls of toilet paper, on the floor, on mommy's elbows...and the list goes on and on and ON!
Rubbin' my whiskers on stuff makes me feel warm and cozy on the inside. Mommy says it might have somethin' to do with me bein' blind as a bat...maybe it helps to comfort me or somethin'. Anyways...I just love to git me some whisker rubbin'.
One of my MOST favoritest places to rub my whiskers is on the knobs that turn the waters on in the bathtub in mommy's bathroom. I especially like it right after mommy takes a shower. It's warm and steamy and cozy...Oh, I can stay in the bathtub for HOURS just rubbin' and purrin' the day away.
Well...now this is the excitin' part...Friday evenin' mommy came home from work. She put the key in the doorknob and opened the door...and then she heard it...it skeert her nearly half to death...I heard her say "Oh Lord! What now?"...she dropped everything in her hands and went runnin' up the stairs to the master bathroom. And that's when she saw what my whisker rubbin' had done...see...after mommy leaved to go to work Friday mornin', I started to workin' on my whisker rubbin' in the bathtub. Uh, I rubbed so hard that, well, I turned the water on in the tub. I was very skeert. I tried to unturn the waters on but I couldn't figure out how to do it. So...uh, well, the waters runned full blast all day longs.
I tried to tell mommy that I was just testin' out the plumbin' work we had to git done a few weeks ago. Let's just say she ain't buyin' my explanation. Dang...I don't think I'll be gittin' to do any whisker rubbin' any time soon.

PS...Friday, March 13th, is a very very VERY important day in our house! Be sure to come back to visit on Friday, 'kay? Oh! And...uh, next Monday just happens to be MY Birthday! Next week's Mazie Monday will be a ding dang doozy!
