I thought you all might want to see my beautiful Mazie Grace taking a glorious snooze in my lap tonight. She continued to have a good day today. She ate throughout the day on her own...not huge amounts but, still, she showed an interest in food...something she hasn't done in quite some time. They have taken out her IV and withdrawn the IV pain meds. She is now getting subquetaneous injections (under the skin) of her pain meds and seems to be doing quite well. Once she comes home, I will continue those pain medication injections.
I had to laugh because several of the folks from VRCC said to me today that "Mazie is enjoying her pain medications"...my only response is "that's my girl!"...LOL!
