Tryin' to Fill Felix's Shoes

Dearest peoples on the innernets, this is Jimmy Durante Graves III speakin'. It ain't been so easy here in the Whiskers & Purrs House over the past couple of weeks. Everybody has been sad and feelin' a little lost. Even though I'm just 1 and 1/2 years old, I really think I need to step up and try to be the Man of the House now. I ain't tryin' to take Felix's place...nobody in the whole wide world could ever do that...but, the kids in this house need a leader. They is all a little skeert now 'cause they feel so all alone. So...I'm gonna try real hard to watch over 'em all and take keer of mommy.

Don't worry, little sister Mazie Grace, everything is gonna be alright. I will watch over you and make sure we is all okay.
