Dearest peoples on the innernets,
Felix gots to come home on Monday. He is feelin' very very bad. He was feelin' so bad that he runned unnerneath the bed and has been hidin' since he got home. Mommy put him in the spare bedroom so he could git some rest and we would all leave him be. She sleeped in there with him Monday night so he wouldn't feel so all alone.
Aunt Doktor Davies and mommy are hopin' that maybe he will do better at home. He was very stressed and cranky at The Hospital for Very Sick Cats. His glucose and liver function was back to normal but his temperature was very high(105.3 degrees). (Normal for kitties is 100.5 - 102.5). The vet ain't so sure what is causin' this...she thinks maybe he is incubatin' a viral infeckshun. If that's the case, then it will just have to run its course. So...mommy will be checkin' his temperature, givin' him fluids and all of his medicines.
We knows we has been askin' a lot from all of our friends, what with all the prayin' y'all has been doin'...but if you could pray just extra real hard now, we sure would appreciate it. We is all real skeert...what if it's somethin' worser than a viral infeckshun? We is 'fraid to even think 'bout it. We just want our Felix to be his old self again real soon. We miss him...and we are very sad.
