Hello to all the peoples in the world.
This here is Lucy a speakin' all the way from heaven. Dang...I'm gittin' good at bein' an angel. I can fly real good now. At first I had some trouble learnin' but I'm an expert now! I've been doin' lotsa stuff since I've been here. I've been watchin' over my mommy lots. She is still real sad now that I am in heaven. She still cries. I've been sittin' on her shoulder every day and curlin' up with her when she goes to sleep. I've also been watchin' over Elsie Fallulah. She still misses me, too. But the difference 'tween mommy and Elsie is that Elsie can see me. I sure wish mommy could.
One of the things I've been tryin' to do since I've been here is help some of the homeless kitties that are sufferin' on earth. See, me and Ricky was homeless once. Thank goodness somebody found us and helped us find mommy. Not everybody is as lucky as we was. So one day I was watchin' over a bunch of homeless little people all around the world and one of 'em called out to me, "Dear Angel Lucy, I'm tryin' to git to Connie's house...can you help me out? She's my mommy but she don't know it yet. I've been a waitin' on her for months. I'm havin' to live in cage at a shelter and I'm tired of it...now don't git me wrong, it beats bein' on the street but I'm ready to go home! Can you PLEASE help me...I've just got to git home! They need me...bad!" His name is Mr. Hottie Hotterson...HUBBA HUBBA...Well, actually, the humans was callin' him Mitchell. See, I talked with Oscar and he said he was doin' anything to git Aunt Connie's attention. Mitchell was the name of Aunt Candace's cat...ya know, Mitch! He's in heaven now, too. He was also a very handsome yellow studly boy...Oscar thought it might help to git Aunt Connie's attention if he reminded everybody of Mitch!
So...I fired up my wings and I flyed all the way to Cowafornia. I didn't even git a little bit tired! I'm tellin' ya'll, havin' wings is glorious! So, when I went to Cowafornia, I whispered in the vets ear about a gajillion times..."call Aunt Connie"..."call Aunt Connie"..."call Aunt Connie"...okay, so I started to git a little aggrivitated..."ARE YOU DEAF??? I SAID CALL AUNT CONNIE"! So, finally, she looked a little rattled, and called Aunt Connie. She said, "Connie, you must come quick...there's a gorgeous yellow boy here...you must meet him!". So Aunt Connie went to meet Oscar! She said she wasn't sure if she could take him 'cause she has Otis and Ozzie already...she said Oscar could come home on a trial basis...LOL!!! A TRIAL BASIS! Humans can be so silly! So she bringed Oscar home...and...Aunt Connie was ready for all kinds of growlin' and hissin' and cussin'...but...nothin' happened! She was still worried and just knowed somethin' bad would happen between Oscar and Ozzie and Otis and Opey the Dog. She called my mommy and said..."I'm just not ready for another cat..."...see, I've trained my mommy real good for situations like this, mommy said "Connie, it doesn't matter if you're ready or not...Oscar is ready to be home!"
So...the rest is history...A life was saved. Oscar, Otis, Ozzie and Opey the dog are the bosses of Aunt Connie, Aunt Candace and Unkle Brian.
Okay...off to watch out for another little homeless person...and also to check in on Mr. Hottie Hotterson!
Very truly yours,
Lucy Margarite, Angel Extraordinare
