Hi. My name is Ricky Eugene Graves. I'm writing ya'll from Heaven. I've been here for almost 2 years. My mommy misses me lots. I watch over her now just like she watched over me when I walked on my feets. See, I don't have to walk on my feets any more. I have real pretty wings...they are white and real soft. I can get to mommy real quick if she needs me. And, every night I lay down next to mommy to rest my wings when she goes to bed. I talk to Lucy and Elsie a lot, too. They can see me but mommy can't. I really don't know all of them other cats that live in the house...there sure is a lot of 'em! Mommy says that none of them are as special as me.
Mommy's eyes have been awful drippy the last few days 'cause she has been thinkin' bout me a lot. She found some of my pictures and it made her miss me extra lots. The one that really made mommy sad was the one of me and Lucy when we were just tiny little squirts. Since I was such a big ol' manly man, it's hard to imagine me bein' a tiny little itsy bitsy baby. But I sure was. When me and Lucy adopted
mommy, I weighed 1 lb and Lucy weighed 8 ounces!!! That's real real little! Here's the picture that brings back lots of memories for mommy. Boy...we was sure havin' fun! It's a little bit X-rated 'cause you can see Lucy's stuff, but we had lots of fun rompin' around all the time.
If anybody could do me a favor and tell mommy that I'm okay and still with her, I sure would appreciate it. I hate to see her when she's missin' me. Oh, and also tell Aunt Sally & Uncle John that Raven and Gully are A-OK!!! Me and Gully are real good friends. We sniff nip together every once in a while. And, tell Aunt Connie that Emma is watchin' her like a hawk and keepin' an eye on them two yellow boy cats she adopted. She doesn't like 'em too much but she told me that they make her mommy happy so she is toleratin' them. Oh, and my best friend is
Mitch! Please, please tell Aunt Candace that Mitch, Cosette and Beatrice are rockin' and rollin'!!! Me and Mitch talk every day...we have some very deep conversations. I've got a whole lotta friends in heaven! Please be sure to tell my mommy all of that, okay? 'Cause she's my best friend and I want her to know I'm okay and with her every day no matter what!
